Appraisals are now in place on most of our Conservation Areas - but Rawtenstall and Bacup Town Centres still need final confirmation. The Council is looking next at setting up a Conservation Area in Haslingden Town Centre, but one in Crawshawbooth is still outstanding from the last District Plan, and some work has been done by our History Group on Newchurch, which is full of interesting possibilities.
